Audiology and Habilitation of the Deaf


 

The Miller Speech and Hearing Clinic provides a variety of diagnostic audiological services for clients ranging in age from infancy through adulthood. Services include hearing screening, audiological evaluations, immitance and otoacoustic emission testing, speech audiometry, and evaluation of auditory processing. Instrumentation is available for behavioral testing of infants from ages 6 months and above.

 

The Miller Speech and Hearing Clinic provides a variety of therapy services for clients with hearing loss from infancy through adulthood. Services include Auditory-Verbal therapy for young children and their families supervised by a Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist, listening and spoken language training for older children, and listening, lipreading and communication skills training for adults with hearing loss. Clients who use hearing aids, cochlear implants, or other types of listening devices participate in audiological rehabilitation services.
